During a meeting between Dr. Mohammad Ghorbanpour Delavar, President of the Imam Mobin International Research Center, and Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, President of the Network of Virtual Universities of the Islamic World, agreements were reached regarding joint collaboration in educational and research fields, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

It is noteworthy that the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) was established in January 2011 to create suitable frameworks for supporting the development of education and research networks based on modern information and communication technologies, to promote a culture of collaboration, facilitate cooperation, strengthen relationships, and enhance scientific, educational, research, and technological cooperation among elites, scholars, and scientists from Islamic countries.

CINVU, through its Network of Virtual Universities of the Islamic World, operates under COMSTECH – the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
