2026-01-03
Announcement of the ninth Issue of the Journal of Ahl al-Bayt (as) Teachings
2026-01-03In a consultation and scientific meeting held with the presence of a number of faculty members, researchers, and managers of the Imam Mobin Research and Educational Center, the most important research topics of the Center and the Journal of Ahl al-Bayt (as) Teachings were discussed and reviewed.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mohammad Ghorbanpour, Director of the Imam Mobin Research Center, referred to the background and development process of the two institutions’ activities and emphasized the necessity of redefining the knowledge of the Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt (as) according to contemporary needs. He highlighted the importance of conveying the concepts and merits of the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) to both domestic and international audiences and stressed that the Research Center does not intend to duplicate other institutions’ efforts, but will proceed based on the epistemic needs of the international arena, particularly in responding to historical and theological doubts, orientalist studies, and other essential topics.
Following this, a faculty member, referring to the Center’s activities over the past two years—including organizing seminars, scientific workshops, and participation in national and international conferences—underscored the necessity of a more active presence in theoretical discussions, critical review sessions, and research activities with a focus on global requirements, divine sciences, and religious foresight studies.
Dr. Mohammad Reza Aram, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, emphasized the importance of precise topic identification and engagement in areas that have been less explored in the divine sciences. He stated that research in Qur’anic and hadith studies should be presented in a richer and more substantiated manner, moving beyond descriptive approaches to address contemporary doubts, provide applied and analytical studies with a forward-looking perspective from the viewpoint of Ahl al-Bayt (as), and include discussions on Imam Mahdi (aj) and the period of occultation, as well as the interpretive and theological methods of the Imams, all supported by strong and reliable references.
The Deputy of Research highlighted the necessity of establishing a Divine Sciences and Religious Foresight Group, emphasizing that for research activities, a research calendar aligned with the educational programs of the institute and current critical issues must be prepared and implemented.
In the concluding session, Dr. Nasser Va’ezi, Dr. Rouhani, Dr. Shoja, Professor Seyyed Al-Khatib, and Professor Hosseini shared their perspectives and suggestions to improve the activities and future programs of the Center and the Journal. The Director of the Center concluded by sincerely appreciating the efforts of all colleagues, particularly Dr. Aram, Dr. Va’ezi, Mr. Mahdavi, Mr. Medhati, and other faculty members and researchers.
This scientific consultation represents an effective step toward enhancing research quality, coordinating the Center and Journal activities, and emphasizing the fulfillment of the scholarly and epistemic needs of the global Islamic community.
